In October last year, Rohit Shetty announced the new addition to his cop universe—Tiger Shroff as ACP Satya—who will join Ajay Devgn in Singham Again. Barring the scenes that introduce Shroff in the film, a major portion of the shoot has been completed. After wrapping up the Jordan leg of the shoot for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan with Akshay Kumar, the actor has reported on the sets of the actioner and has been shooting with Devgn for a week at Film City.
“Matching dates is always a struggle in multi-starrers,” says an informer, crediting Shetty for managing the impossible with his meticulous planning. The director is keen to wrap up the shoot of the cop thriller by the end of February.
“Right now, major portions of Tiger are being canned. [Because] after this week, Ajay will get busy with promotions for his film Shaitaan; there’s a [race] to meet the deadline. The makers are hoping to shoot most of Tiger’s scenes by the end of this month,” adds the source. Singham Again, set to release on August 15, will also introduce Deepika Padukone in her cop avatar.
