This role provides a unique opportunity to work closely with the Safety Manager and contractors to enhance and implement our Corporate HSE Management ethics. What You’ll Be Doing:

Policy Implementation and Monitoring:

• Enforce Modon and Parsons HSE Policy, HSE Plan, and relevant legislation.
• Monitor HSE performance and set targets, suggesting improvements for better outcomes.

Collaboration:

• Liaise with the Safety Manager and contractors to promote and implement Corporate HSE Management ethics.
• Ensure contractors adhere to safety measures and best practices.

Hazard Analysis:

• Review Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment Plans for critical activities.
• Monitor the effectiveness of hazard control measures, job safety plans, and work method statements.

Inspections and Reporting:

• Conduct site HSE visits and report findings to the Resident Engineer for immediate rectification.
• Review and oversee contractors’ monthly HSE inspections and reports.

Meetings and Communication:

• Lead monthly safety meetings, set targets, and prepare minutes for follow-up actions.
• Review emergency preparedness plans, toolbox talks, HSE meetings, and contractors’ HSE statistics and records.

Incident Management:

• Review incident and accident investigation reports.
• Communicate learning points and ensure follow-up actions to prevent recurrence.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Undertake other tasks as required for this role.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• A B.Sc. or equivalent degree in environmental/loss prevention or relevant engineering disciplines.
• Recognized health and safety certifications or training in the UAE (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHAD – Qudorat, First Aid, Fire Safety, etc.).
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction supervision as a Safety Officer.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

• At least 3 years of recent experience in infrastructure construction supervision.
• Experience with an engineering consulting firm is an advantage.
• UAE experience and a valid UAE driving license are preferable.
